Why dont the overly religious people show ANY ';outrage'; at the fact that transexuals can change gender & marry?

You hear about how for example in California, they were so pissed that gays could actually marry, so they had prop 8 passed which kept them from having the right to marry their partner.



But you never, EVER, hear about religious people not wanting transgendered people to get a sex change, change their BIRTH certificate's gender, AND get married to the same sex of their original gender.



This just crossed my mind today and it just made me think ';why don't they get mad about that?';Why dont the overly religious people show ANY ';outrage'; at the fact that transexuals can change gender %26amp; marry?
This saddens us, not outrages us. It gets us to pray for their souls. They are so lost!

Once same-sex marriage is a normal part of our society, don't doubt for a second that the bigots of the world won't look for a new target. I would not be surprised in the least if it's the transsexuals they go after next.



One small point of clarification: gender is immutable, and would require an entire restructuring of the synaptic configuration of the brain to change. When someone changes their anatomical sex, they simply change the record of their physical sex on their birth certificate to match their new sex, which is the same as their gender always was.
I used to be a Christian, a really devoted one. I would NEVER have condemned ANYONE for being gay. You can't generalize about ALL religious people... there are millions of them!! It just isn't possible, or fair.



I have no idea what it's like to be transgendered. Who am I to judge? If I were to become a religious person, it would not alter the fact that I don't know what it's like to be transgendered and am not in a position to judge.
If they want to go to all that trouble to be someone who they are not, that's their privilege. God knows what is in their hearts, and He will deal with them appropriately. So-called Christians make a big public deal of homosexuals, abortions, etc., when they have absolutely no say in the matter. Their ';righteous indignation'; means nothing to God, as they mean nothing to Him. All they are accomplishing is, putting themselves in opposition to God, and for this they will be judged by His son, Jesus for all the wrong they have done!
My outrage over other people's harmless habits is exhausted, so long as they leave me out of the loop on hearing about it.



However, I don't think these groups just want rights, they want acceptance, and a sort of celebration of their lifestyle (cf: Pride). I don't intend to do that. I just don't care, but please leave me out of it.
What you have done is perceive that Christians have an inconsistent hierarchy of things that they disprove of in the order that you think that they should be.

Some attempt to find fault with Christians and their inability to carry out a Christian walk of faith. The Christian has adopted the Truth of God and has failed to abide by their chosen doctrine. The atheist on the other hand has chosen what is evil and has carried it out to perfection.

Come to Jesus and repent. Say a simple prayer of faith for Jesus to come into your life.
It's true that it saddens us.... why would you want to change who you are? im sure they don't believe they're changing much, but they're changing the person God loves and the beautiful body the Lord gave them... I don't believe that any of that behavior is right, but you still have to respect the practices of all people.
That would require them stopping to think about something that might break their delicate little spirit, and they tend to avoid things they know they can't handle.
Give them time and they will.
They are so caught up with who's ';gay'; and who's not.
