How did women's dress in Europe change post WWII. how did their dress reflect that of the liberation movement?

my question is to what extent did European women's dress change in post WWII Europe. Also to what extent did this affect changing gender roles for women. i need sources !!! and answers!!!!How did women's dress in Europe change post WWII. how did their dress reflect that of the liberation movement?
I think the remarkable change occurred during the war, rather than following - although the changes carried through and it wasn't just in Europe. By the sheer numbers of men that went to war, thousands of basic functional roles inside the communities of Europe and America changed. Women were encouraged to set aside the more gentile image designed for them and put on working clothes (including pants/slacks and work coveralls) to take jobs normally occupied by men. Even Queen Elizabeth II wore pants to drive an ambulance during WWII.

There was a post war rebound to a more dainty and conservative image for some to put post war blues behind them.
